All about Ethereum Name Service (ENS)
Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a system that maps human-readable names (e.g. rohas.eth) to crypto addresses, metadata, and content hashes.
Name: Ethereum Name Service
Symbol: ENS
Token Type: ERC-20
1. Overview
Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a system that maps human-readable names (e.g. rohas.eth) to:
· crypto addresses (e.g. 0xb794f5ea0ba39494ce839613fffba74279579268),
· metadata,
· content hashes.
ENS is built on Ethereum and it can also be deployed on private blockchains. It supports top-level domains like .eth, .luxe, .xyz, and .kred.
The ENS architecture comprises the registry and the resolvers. The registry hosts the list of all domains & subdomains. The resolver translates domain names into blockchain addresses.
2. Roadmap
· Product Launch: May 2017
· DAO Launch: November 2021
· Foundation Incorporation: November 2021 (Cayman Islands)
3. Use cases
Censorship-resistant decentralized websites can be uploaded to the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and accessed with an ENS name.
ENS can be used with conventional Domain Name System (DNS) names like .com and .org.
Buyers pay fees for registering new domains and for renewing existing ones.
The ENS token facilitates the community-driven governance of the ENS DAO. The DAO has a delegated governance structure.
ENS token holders own and govern the protocol and take the full share of all registration and renewal fees.

7. Revenue metrics
Annualized total revenue: $ 70 million
Annualized protocol revenue: $ 70 million
Price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio: 17.84x
Price-to-sales (P/S) ratio: 17.84x

Notes:
Circulating Supply is the number of coins / tokens in public hands.
Total Supply is the number of coins / tokens created minus the number burned.
Maximum Supply is the maximum amount of this crypto that can ever exist.
Market cap = Current Price x Circulating Supply.
Fully Diluted Market Cap is the market cap if the maximum supply was in circulation.
Volume (24h) is the fiat value of this crypto traded over the last 24 hours.
Volume / market cap ratio = 24h Volume / Marketcap.
Annualized protocol revenue is the protocol revenue over the previous 30 days multiplied by 365/30. Protocol revenue is the amount of revenue that is distributed to token holders.
Supply-side revenue is the amount of revenue the project pays to the supply-side participants e.g. liquidity providers.
Annualized total revenue is calculated as the total revenue over the previous 30 days multiplied by 365/30. Total revenue is the total fees paid by the users over a specific time period.
Price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is the fully diluted market cap divided by annualized protocol revenue.
Price-to-sales ratio is the fully diluted market cap divided by annualized total revenue.
